Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

Nice ! Cars looks great, where did you get them ?

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

Very nice and realistic. The trees look perfect. Did you model them?

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

simas: cars are from the warehouse.

edenux: the trees are from the warehouse too.

thx for the comments guys! greetings!!

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

Hi there teo,

I’m very much a newbie on this forum - and to be quite honest, I know very little about the techniques involved in obtaining the beautiful, photo-realistic renderings to be seen here. But I have done a bit of 3D presentation work in my time, and couldn’t help noticing that the way the trees in your most recent post seem to ‘grow out of the pavement’ looks slightly un-natural. I think the render would benefit from the ‘suggestion’, so to speak, of a ring-shaped opening in the pavement material, where the topsoil/grass becomes visible - so that the tree looks as if it is planted in soil and it has a little ‘room to grow’ around the trunk.

Apart from that minor point, I think it’s beautiful work

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

Teo i like the render and the design too, i´m guessing that you added the people with photoshop right? What technic did you use to add reflection on the glasses? They look good but the windows on the left corner do not have it. I like the asphalt texture. Congrats!

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

In the first image, the storefront glass under the Banco section lacks the quality of the others. It seems to be reflecting a blank white wall. Although I like the reflections in the Telefonia and Cafe area glass, adding the effect of something going on inside the retail space would complete the illusion.

The large empty parking lot in the foreground needs some finishing touches. The look of it is very nice as far as textures etc. but if there were a foreground shadow across the bottom of the page it would focus the sun’s light on the subject of your view and help to minimize the prominence of the parking lot.

In the second Image, the scale of the group of ladies sitting in the busstop shelter doesn’t look right to me. They look a little small.

The trees definitely need a treegrate or planting around them.

Nice work teofas.

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

yes i agree with all comments above, thx. this was done very fast hehe, but next time ill be more carefull.

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

How fast?

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

2 days :frowning:

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

what were you given to start the project? were you provided a SU model or cad files or what?

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

Teo good job as always, and I know what you mean about making render fast is the way that works here in my office, by the way cars are great and trees but looks weird a tree coming out of the pavement.

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

About the trees coming from the pavement, here are actual photo from the proyect site. trees are coming out from the pavement.

Justlookin: too much questions, i cannot tell my workflow system, heheheeh, just kidding bro, i have cad files. more questions are welcome

Dave: thx for coment bro.

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

i’m curious… you think you can post a raw render?.. that’s always fun hehe

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

where is taht by the way? es “la piramide”?

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

raw render

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

wow, your raw grass SUCKS!..
what do you do with your postproduction?..i thougt you used to use hdri’s for the illumination…

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

wow, your raw grass SUCKS!.. well much of my raw render materials use to suck, but fo that i have photoshop ;D

what do you do with your postproduction?.. in wich part exactly?

i thougt you used to use hdri’s for the illumination… not always, it depends on the time i have and the workflow i choose for the image, depending on time mostly.

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

i wasnt going to post this one, cause its the worst of all hehehe but what the heck!! here you have it, have fun ;D

Re: ---Exterior Small Shopping Plaza---

Thats not so bad. Just make all the image without end(I mean, put the camera in the way that you could not see model end) In this way, there wont be white places and image will look quite good and realistic for cunsumer
