Foam Rendering and cutter object make something black

Hello,

When i render foam ( cellular or bubble with analityc + shadow ) there is some black inside the refraction passe wich also appear in RGB beauty passes.

Cutter geometry is off
Glass geometry is on to help the rendering of the foam contact with the glass

If i turn on Cutter geometry for the foam, there is no more contact with the glass but i haven’t the dark parts in the Foam.
So, i think the black zone came from the glass foam contact with the Glass geometry PHXFOAM option.

How to get ride of it and having a beautifull white foam ?

this dark bubbles appears when i use Glass (MXS: useglass, glass) . Why ?

interesting, never met such a problem before.
can you share some version details?

*it’s phoenixFD nightly 22501 on 3DSMAX 2016 and Vray 3.30.04
This dark zone is more visible with Disable liquid shadow uncheked. but even it’s less visible with liquid shadow OFF, it’s still there.

22501 sounds like quite old build, can you try with a new one?

22501 in fact no : phoenixFD_adv_22501_max2016_vray_30_x64_26722
so i think to good number is 26722 , but i will try the 26741 to see if it’s change.

mu mistake, i was asking for the build (26722), it’s more informative than the version
