well that image just has several little spheres inside a larger one. the larger one has default IOR of the vraymatl refraction. The smaller ones have IOR of 1.0 i think. made the scene at work so dont have access to it.
Here is a clear example of glass with an air bubble inside at the left and a single shape (tiny hole at the bottom to be able to connect the spheres to make sure it is a single solid) at the right.
The black refractions from the environment are almost completely missing in the left part.
Sorry Eric / Tolgeir, I forgot about attaching the mesh option. That seems to work BUT: What I was trying to achieve is making bubbles with a particle system, so that would mean I have to use mesher to convert the system to a mesh first.
I don’t know if this a bug of a limitation, but it would be more intuitive if we could just apply a air material to a mesh and vray takes care of the rest. Vlado, is this possible?
