Just purchased and installed a new NVIDIA GTX 970. But it’s not working. When I try to use ActiveSahde, V-Ray Standalone crashes. I am running 3DS MAX 2015. I tried CPU, which works, but doesn’t update in realtime and I tried both GPU options, which causes the crash.

Did you try installing new GPU drivers, picking up GPU in device list for vray, reimstalling vray?

I installed the driver and picked in VRay’s list, but no, I didn’t re-install V-Ray. [image] vraytoon effect, but with dots at vertices. Did you try installing new GPU drivers, picking up GPU in device list for vray, reimstalling vray?

You need nightly build for the 970 to work with V-Ray (or to wait until the next service pack).

How do I get a nightly build?
You need nightly build for the 970 to work with V-Ray (or to wait until the next service pack).
You have to drop a mail to support@chaosgroup.com and they will sort that out.

I haven’t heard back from sales. How long should it take to get a reply from them?
You have to drop a mail to support@chaosgroup.com and they will sort that out.
