As far as I know, all those maps use some kind of node ID to randomize stuff and corona is not able to use those IDs in the Shader atm.
It’s already requested but I guess you will have to randomize it with a simple Script or something like that.
As you know, there are some script to change randomly maps value?
I’ve a multi/sub obj material, with 20 CoronaMTL inside, with ColorCorrection in the diffuse and the same diffuse texture for the 20 material.
I would like to change automatically the ColorCorrection HUE ans the Saturation automatically, and not change manually for 20 sub-oject (for 10 different Multi/Suvb obj) =(
Do you have Forestpack? If you do, you can make a material with Multiscatter Texture, tick “Use Object Color” and then control the variation in Forestpack Object “Color Tint” tab.
The possibilities may be unlimited but the tools are not. Just wasted a whole evening testing bercon maps with corona and found a devastating bug which lead to throwing the whole bercon crap into the garbage bin (RAGE!) . Multitexture is way too limited and the bitmap loading option is just fubar - honestly, who really likes to use that map O_o?!
If someone had some real alternative to randomizing a ton of maps/materials by scripting it would be great!
