since vray sky always make my picture blue, I prefer use default light, u can control where the shadow falls more easily, but u cannot set up area shadow for default light, that’s anoying. any trick?
Re: how to make soft shadow with default light
the default light is actually the sun, so if you set a texSky and choose the sun, you can control the settings. Then when you unset the texSky, I believe the sun will retain the settings, and you should be able to just render with the default light on, with all the settings the sun had.
