Done with 3dsmax9 and VRay 1.5 RC3.
Render time was 45 minutes, the dof image took a bit longer because it was done with the vray cam and not in post production.

wow, very nice renderings! Nice work.
i would do an override on the GI generated by the yellow pillows. maybe limit it to about 0.6.

thanks for the kind comments.
the final output was 3500x2400. i cant say anything about the render time cause it was done over a network. the images i uploaded took 45 minutes, those were the last test renderings i was sending to the client before i rendered the large res.

The first image is excellent! The plant leaves in the second image is kind of distracting IMO.
Great work mate - my only comment would be to brighten the background image, particularly in the 1st image.
Very nice images. Did you use Vray Camera or Standard? If you used Vray Camera, could you share your settings?

Looking very nice :-)… very nice indeed.
A simple question: what material settings did you use for the white walls?
…and some more
Did you use exposure control?
Did you use lele’s LWF method?
Did you adjust the sky map?
Much appreciated
Cheers

Hi Olli,
Heck, I’ve been trying for hours to reproduc the smooth and silky white room in your images… but of course with no success :? …
May I ask… where am I going wrong :?:

His walls are rather yellow from bounced light.
You could try filling up your room with objects and colors like he has in his plus turning of vignetting might help to
