Following up with the forum on a service request that is in the works. We have one workstation on our network that cannot connect to the licensing server. When we go to Revit 2021 and then Enscape and then General Settings, “Network” has a triangle icon with an exclamation mark on it. Doesn’t matter whether “Use System Default Values” is checked or not we get “Connection Failed” in the bottom right corner of the Settings pop up.
The tech from Enscape sent us the list of websites to add to our network firewall. No real explanation of why it would be possible for this to affect only one workstation and none others on our network when they are all behind the same firewall. All workstations are on fixed IP addresses, as is this one.
All of the suggested firewall exceptions were put in place. Watching network traffic on the firewall nothing is blocked there.
When I go to the menu bar on Revit>Enscape>>About I see :
License service is not reachable.
Please check your internet connection and network settings!

It seems to me these items are related. I’ve paused Kaspersky protection and still cannot make a connection to the licensing server (from the license window with Revit).
Again, it’s only for this workstation. The list of websites have been added to the firewall list of exceptions. This workstation has a connection to the internet, that’s not an issue. The tech seems unwilling to try a remote support session. I’m at a loss for what to try next.
