Sorry, did not want to post this here but i am in the middle of a project in revit 2019 and I cannot get enscape activated. I sent a message via feedback as mentioned, I emailed support and I PM’d someone. Not trying to be a pain or redundant but trying to generate some initial renderings for a client to send out yet today. Thank you ahead of time.
Gave you a reply to the direct message you’ve sent me.
If in fact this has not been resolved yet via our support team I’m happy to help!
You guys had this fixed and now it does not work again. Tired using it on my home computer. I logged into work computer remotely and double checked. None of my machines has a license of enscape running. I am dead in the water…again. I am getting message 64 saying there are too many seats opened or something like that.
The license error 64 that you have receive could also very well indicate that Enscape could not connect to our licensing server to verify the status of your license.
Provided that you had access to the internet at the time this issue occurred, I assume that you’re probably connect to the internet via a proxy server?
In that case, you might need to configure your proxy settings. You can do that by opening the General Settings window and selecting the Network option. Click the Edit Proxy Settings button, which will open the Enscape Proxy Server window. Then un-check the Use System Default checkbox to allow your proxy server details to be entered. You may need to ask your IT Administrator what information you need to fill out in these fields.
If you are not using a proxy server, please make sure the box next to “Use System Default” is checked.
Another possibility if you are not using a proxy server is that your firewall is blocking Enscape from connecting to our licensing server.
Therefore, please make sure that you have the following URL exceptions and associated port numbers marked as exceptions in your Firewall settings:
http://licensing.inreal-tech.com
http://licensing.enscape3d.com
The port for these URL’s should be set to ’80’.
If that doesn’t help, could you please briefly submit a feedback report? This way we should be able to further troubleshoot the cause behind this behavior, which would not be usual then.
Getting ready for a meeting and now this does not work again on my laptop. What is the deal with Enscape licensing and Revit? Can you please address. Before you send me the default answer again regarding port settings and such, I have already checked and confirmed things are appropriately set.
To be fair, I do not think I have had enscape running on this laptop with revit yet but still, this should not be an issue? Maybe it is relative to upgrading to latest version?
Pardon, I was not aware that you received the proxy/firewall settings message before, it’s usually either that or because the license is not being revoked properly. Since you’re revoking the license via the General Settings before activating it on another machine, and you stating that it’s not related to the proxy or firewall configuration, we’ll have to dig deeper to get behind the cause of this problem. Would you be so very kind as to submit a feedback report as described here? In the submission form, please add a link to this thread or a general short description of your issue for reference.
I did send through feedback this morning. I am getting error 64 on my work machine. I do have internet connection and I tested the proxy settings and the connection says it is fine. It was working all day January 20 on my work machine when you reset it. I deactivated it so I could use it on my laptop for a meeting but got the message 64 when I went to activate on that laptop.
Thank you - we’ll check it out!
Actually, while you check out, could you please reset so I can send out my updated renderings?
There are no activations to be reset. You should be able to activate the license. Can you also write me your e-mail which you’ve used to send in the feedback via personal message? Then I can assign the ticket to myself. ![]()
Hello Demian, I think I just sent you a message via PM. Also, it now activates. I will try it on my laptop yet today to make sure it works there as well once I log off of this machine. Thank you.
Demian,
I sent you a PM again. My home machine and work machine will not allow me to activate enscape in revit again. I logged off my work machine last night and came home and worked on my home machine for awhile, then tried to activate enscape for revit with no success.
Okay, I can make this happen anytime now with Revit. All I do is deactivate Enscape on Revit at work, go home and then try to activate on my home machine. It Always fails and I get the 262144 message saying the license cannot be activated, contact support. Can you please address this? I am going to submit via feedback as well but this really needs to be remedied as to why this seems to be happening.
Have you received corresponding support via the feedback ticket you’ve submitted?
