With the full light select being (in theory) done for 3.6 will there be a light mixer planner for 4.0 integrated with the new VFB? In theory again :slight_smile:

The new VFB has a compositing engine that allows you to mix render elements, where each element with its own color corrections. So yes, you could mix the light selects right inside the VFB. Best regards, Vlado

we are doing a lot of 3D mapping on buildings so having “selected” render elements denoised and specifically a proper light select would be a must. the possibility to tweak the pace of On and Off lights in sync with the soundtrack in post, without rerendering would save a lot of render time. Great Frame Buffer. thanks, Vlado and Chaos Group developers. awesome it would be great if frame buffer actually has bake button for LUT as well it make a whole lot easier to do this inside frame buffer and not shot by shot in post for still renders.

do you plan any beta program for 3.6 like 3.5? and the main focus on 3.6 is RT or IPR? any big and exciting feature? (like adaptive light and live vr in 3.5 or…)
The new frame buffer would be in 4.xx, Am I right?
3.5 was huge game changer in many aspects. hope for 3.6 to be even more awesome.
