Splendid
Il like your light and fabric material ![]()
Congrats

Nice work, what was your render time like?
nice…my only comment is that I wish there was more contrast in the shadows/dark areas of the environment…right now it looks really washed out…so it makes it feel like the couch was pasted onto the background image…
hope my comment makes sense ![]()
paul.
superb Quality
… my only comments are that your wall in the corners are loosing definition from lack of shadows, and your floor is a little to glossy ..but great render ![]()
As the Guiness man says “Brilliant”
Excellent materials, I especially like the (Mass produced, easy to put together, cheap at your local DIY) timber floor.
Lighting is really good, quite frankly this is indistinguishable from a photo. IMHO.
Nice one!
thanks all!

cocolas/natty,
I agree, iv been trying to get a little more tone/contrast into it but im a little unsure of how to do it :?
Has anyone got any tips on getting a little more tone into the corners of the walls? ![]()
looks great, althou the floor is just too clean and perfect,
id add a slight bump to both those seams and a slight noise all over the surface.
it looks kinda fake now

Plush n cool nice render, just more difinition on the walls…

Simply beautiful…
Render time was 2 hours 40 minutes or 2 minutes 40 seconds? Could you make a screenshot of leather material please?
Lovely!
I didn’t notice at first, but since others mentioned it - more of a ‘staggering’ of the floor boards could break up the floor a little…?
Beautifully smooth and clean. ![]()
thanks all!

2 hours and 40 minutes?!?!?!?!
holy crap!..thats fast…care to share your floor settings?, specailly the glossies.
The same glossy floor on my PC would take me a whole day to render.
what’s your GI settings??..it could be that those are too low..especially the interpolation…
paul.
holy crap…thats very nice.!!!
Care to share you couch material settings…i really like it ![]()
very very nice work !
what about your material and scene settings ?!
I’m not the only one who’s asking,
![]()

thanks all, its cool that you like it…even if it is unfinished!!!
hughg. yeah, I need better walls…any tips?
LuKa, actual time was 2 hours and 37 mins…lightmapping for secondary bounce speed things up alot ![]()
AJ_23, yep..ill adjust the texture map…add a bit of bump as well maybe
jedisalf, the floor settings wont realy help you much. For the defuse I have a texture map (wood) and the glossys are set to:
Reflect: 35,35,35
Refl Glossiness: 0.9
thats it, everything else on the map is default. I think what helps is the area lights at the window…make some nice reflections
cocolas, here you go…mostly eveything is on default
Hussam_CG/Neo2k1, the sofa, basic vray and falloff map…see link
