Hi, I have created a model of an interior and have added the materials in Rhino (not as Enscape materials) then tried to render in Enscape…some materials were not converted but some where. I have done this same exercise with a Revit model with materials into Enscape without any problems. To redo these materials as Encsape versions will take time, however is this the only way to cure for instance a timber floor which looks great in Rhino but in Enscape looks a solid brown colour?

We strongly recommend making use of the Rhino Enscape Material editor to get full control over your materials. Be aware that we don’t offer a material editor for Revit, the only reason for that is that Revit provides plenty advanced material adjustments already - but the Rhino material editor is rather limited.
Still, I’m a bit surprised that you only see a texture applied as brown color. I’d love the check out the project if you like, but again, the best way would be using the Material Editor. After a while you’ll see how easy it is to use and how much control it gives you over your materials to make them look as great as possible, even if that may take a bit time - it will be worth it.
Also, if you’re using Rhino 5 and not have access to the editor, perhaps there is a chance for you to upgrade eventually?
