Hi,
i’am working on simple exterior scene, but have problems with Sky setup.
When i choose “override sky parameters” in Environment/Backgroud, with “Sun-Light source” set to Light01 (represent my Vray Sun), sun parameters doesn’t work for me, and there is no change of sky (Turbidity, Ozone…tried any values)in rendered scene.
After changing “Sun-Light source” to “Default”, sky behaviour/parameters seems to work ok.
Also changing Sun Params right in Properties Menu work fine, but it doesn’t resolve Background behaviour, for sure, so…
scene:
Vray-sun = (Light01)
Environment:
GI = Sky
Background = Sky
Physical Camera : On
Thanks, and sorry for bad English…
Robert
Re: Override sun doesn’t work…grrrr
This is a know issue, and should be mentioned on the read me file in the most recent version (if not, I apologize). The issue is actually not that the override settings aren’t retrieved, but that they are retrieved before the sun settings are, so since the sun’s default action is to set the values of everything, the overridden values don’t get retained. This will be fixed for the next version of VfSU.
Re: Override sun doesn’t work…grrrr
Thanks for your answer. I’ve forget to mention that i use Rhinoceros, not Sketchup. If it was same bug in Rhino, is there any way how to regulate sky params, like color, brightness(Turb., Ozone…so on)?

Re: Override sun doesn’t work…grrrr
Nope, this is a Rhino specific issue, sorry for that last “vfsu” at the end.
