I’ve been trying to learn vray for more than a year now. The past year was more on terminologies, light setup, etc. but recently I’ve made quite a few architectural visualizations. I want to improve more Thank you asgvis/chaosgroup forum!
I like both, but the exterior needs work, I’d say ditch the displaced grass, and post pro in some. The trees are not realistic models, i think the colouring of the leaf’s lets them down. Find a better model or use good hig res pngs. Maybe add some people for some ‘life’ within the scene. Finally, that reflective surface (plant room wall prehaps??) is not realistic. It looks as though its been pressed from one large metal sheet, which it would never be if built. So panelize the cladding into feasibile panel sizes, and considering making smaller vents in each panel that repeat rather then one long vent.
thanks for the advice dean. The exterior need a lot of work hahaha. thanks! I’ll keep those in mind on other projects. I’m having a hard time looking for good trees and hi res textures. maybe you know where I could find them?
Have a look for the forum post about sharing models, arqteveuz (not the correct spelling of his name, apologies) has shared some helpful scenes, one of which has a good tree. Also I think tefeos shared some good plants/trees some time back in a different post.
Different setup ( Having a hard time picking colors for vegetation)
this image was created a little earlier than my first post
(after 6 months of creating architectural visualization for a company, these are my works)
r2, your work is improving a lot. seriously, the last one is pretty realistic, but i must say that i agree with fernando about that material
keep posting ;D
fernando: thanks for the comments sir fernando! I will update sofa’s materials. Actually I’ve been thinking and trying to achieve the hyper materials(the topic on your webinar)
thanks for the earlier lessons/vid tutorials, got a lot from those
thanks rendell and acastro, I appreciate your feedbacks! will practice more and more
thanks estevez! The last one was the recent, I did work really hard to achieve this. I’ve been doing a lot of architectural presentations recently, IMHO I have made a much more realistic output. “practice makes perfect” they’d say. hehehe
