This is the latest project that I have been working on. The building is still going through the design process, but this is our proposal for now. I have been using SU for modeling and v-ray max for rendering lately, but this one was all done in SU with v-ray for SU. Hope you all like it and feel free to critique or ask any questions.
just love it .. very good job the right cars are just photos in PS ??and with the moving efect?? just one thing the red trees dont look as good as the rest its like they weren´t there..
great job
thanks guys. The cars are all 3D models imported from formfonts… I used photoshop to add the moving effects. The trees were added in photoshop…I am not a big fan of them either. I used billboards that came with an xfrog package and they are good quality and cut out properly with no halo edges, but I just think the type of tree is what makes it look awkward. They dont seem to fit with the rest of the scene, but unfortunately thats what the client wanted… I hate when that happens but I have to deal. They may also need a little bit better of post production work. This was actually my first time relying on photoshop to put in trees…I usually try to use 3-D so I am sure I could improve on that process.
Hey steeler,
Very nice modeling and com-positioning (with the vanishing point). Imo opinion the red trees are not best (client’s) choice, but understandable.
The image could use a bit more contrast. Overall - very good work!
one of your best works in my opinion but i agree that trees are not good, and ill low the point of view in perspective, but in all this is a great render and considering its an exterior.. congrats!!!
thanks for all the feedback guys. Much appreciated. The hedges are from Solo’s garden pack…definately a great buy for the price. I just used displacement for the grass and made sure the surface that I applied it to was subdivided into multiple segments. I would share the displacement map for the grass, but it is from an evermotion material library for v-ray-3ds max and I cant give those away. But I know there are several free ones out there that can work just as well…try searching the sketchup forums.
