Hello!
I’ve a problem with my spot render. Lights draw strange shadows on wall and floor…see in attach
Is that a graphic card problem?
Thks!
I had that (Lighting grid shadows?) - if you re-launch Enscape it goes away. It cleared up on the more recent preview versions; what version are you using?
{Edit: following on from Micha’s comment I would really recommend making the ceiling spots a component and dropping an Escape light into it: then all the light geometry actually has a light emitting from it - you get much nicer results.}
Are the lights placed a little bit in the ceiling?
While I agree that the light source shouldn’t be in the ceiling, that wasn’t the case when it happened to me.
(Although the components I used/use have the source touching an emissive surface that sits 10mm below ceiling level. I have the same with an EIS light source that did the same thing):
(I fill the enscape light object with a 100% transparent fill so that it’s easier to work with)
Update: (since it’s happening to me again)
All my lights are within groups or components: If I drill down so that the active level has an enscape light I can edit then the grid shadows vanish. {Note - I don’t actually have to edit the light or even select it}
Hope this helps the developers find the issue.
