Hi,
Check the help file, under tutorials, progressive path tracing. This looks awesome (except the rendertimes)! Like maxwell, cancel when the result is good enough!

looks nice, but where is the “progressive path tracing” mode listed in the online doc?
under the tutorials.
Nice plug for your own tut!
the version is 1.46.15 we should get to check it out soon
8) Vlado rocks
Yeah, definately.
Let’s say it again:
Vladimir you totally rock!
Now i wonder how difficult it is to achieve Maxwell look (Skylight, etc) with this mode. Some more controls for the Camera, some dispersion for the materials and we’re there. Amazing. ![]()

Ah like Sascha says. only a physical correct skydome now and some dispersion,
can we also use this method, to be saved after some time, and take it for secoundary bounces, to make the immage smooooooth ?
sounds like maxwell with speeeeed.
i dont mind fake dispersion.

i REALLY hope this can be distributed!!! that would really put one over on the maxwell team ![]()
can it? huh, huh, can it?
ooh! and does it work with light cache “flythrough” mode?? that and distributed rendering would make it a great solution for flythroughs, since you can save the map…
