In my render the oceanmesh is not showing in my reflections. Is it a parameter or switch I have to turn on?

This happens as the ocean mesh is built only in the camera view. In order to fix this you can increase the Off-Screen Margin option in the Rendering rollout of the Phoenix simulator. You can find more about it here - Phoenix for 3ds Max
Note that increasing the value too much will consume much more memory, so increase it gradually.
