Revit Colors Not Showing In Enscape Rendering

I am a university student using Revit 2024 and Enscape 2024. When running the escape rendering, the colors are not showing up like they are in Revit. Any ideas on a potential fix. Also, I noticed that Enscape did not render in the trees. I used the Site Component feature to place trees from the Massing & Site Tab.

Hey @derekttran !

Looks like your materials in Revit are set up in the Graphics tab of the respective material, while Enscape is looking in the Appearance tab for the material info.

You can switch between the two modes as described here: https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/revit-material-parameters/#Revit_vid

But if you set up your materials in the Appearance tab, they’ll be graphically much more appealing.

Regarding the trees - have you considered using Enscape assets for the Enscape visualization? You can learn more about them here:

Hey Kaj, thank you for the heads up on the graphics vs. appearance. I ran into another issue. When trying to use appearance through Revit by selecting “Use Render Appearance” on the Graphics tab… the rendering in Enscape still shows a colorless grass. I made sure to set material selection to Appearance on Enscape ribbon → General Settings → Revit -< Material Selection → Appearance.

When using the graphics setting for escape, the colors show fine. It’s just the “appearance” setting I’m having trouble with.

As you mentioned, appearance does make the presentation look better, so I am trying to execute this look.
