Revit to Enscape: Missing Materials

Hi all

I’m sure this has been solved many times but can’t find the solution. I’ve freshly installed Revit 2024 and Enscape 3.5.2 on a new PC running Windows 11. All licenses present and correct etc for all apps/OS. Seems like many (but not all) of my Revit materials aren’t appearing in my Enscape renders, appearing instead simply as white. (With Visual Settings set to None.) I’ve created a simple sample to show what I mean, using Revit’s own brick wall and wood flooring.

Would love any advice!

Much appreciated

TD

Update: Problem solved. I re-installed Revit 2023, whose materials Enscape recognized; and Revit 2024’s materials did also. Maybe some kind of path error - I’ve no idea. But it works!

Hoooo man ! you’re my redemptor !! There are 12 hours that i’m looking for the solution to this issue…I had a 3D model on my PC with no problem, and when i tried to open it on my new laptop with only REVIT 2024 installed, all materials was white…I installed REVIT 2023 and ho thank you god ! , all clear on 2024. Thank you so much my friend.

Good day Enscape.

Please fix this issue. I uninstalled Revit 2023, and my materiality in the model is gone. Currently only have Revit 2024 installed

*update. I managed to install Revit 2023 and it worked. There is a clear issue here, so would be appreciated if you could fix this. I would like to uninstall Revit 2023 in the future.

I’m also having the same issue, Revit 2024. Would appreciate a fix.

Right away since this seemed to have helped a previous user in this thread ( @timdurant ), is there any chance for you to re-install Revit 2024 in your case?

If that makes no difference ( @theo.gutter that applies to you as well) please kindly submit us a feedback report including log files (checked by default) so that we can analyse the exact cause behind this further: https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/using-the-feedback-button-win-revit/

Feel free to let me know once submitted too so I can check if we’ve received everything we require. Thanks a lot in advance.

It seems that Enscape does not show the material in the list if the asset is not “GENERIC”. Just replace the material asset by any generic material from Autodesk’s Library and it should work.
