Hi all. When I render a simulated smoke with RGB optionas color, the result is a flickering scene and I can’t get rid of it. I did try in vantage but it takes plain smoke color only. I did try both with GPU and CPU rendering..nothing change.
There is a way to resolve this issue? Does Vantage get a support for rbg color in smoke? Thank you all!!
try disable lc speedup (light cache speedup) and see if that helps.
Hi! Thank you for your reply.
Where can I find that option? I rendered with and without global illumination, GPU and CPU engine. The result doesn’t change.
It should be under Smoke Color. See option called Volume light Cache and light cache speedup. I would first uncheck volume light cache and do a quick render to confirm the flickering is gone. You can reduce the light cache speedup value to something like 0.1 or less and see if it improves. I generally render without it though to avoid flickering issues.
Thank you Morbid Angel. I will try that!
