Hi @jeronimolobo , in such a case, kindly send us a Feedback Report as detailed here:

https://enscape3d.com/community/blog/knowledgebase/using-the-feedback-button/

This will transfer log files and machine information which should help us with troubleshooting the cause behind this issue.

Thank you in advance!

Hello Demian , i just did it , thanks for the quick reply !!!

Hi guys,

I am having a similar error with a user from the Studio I work.

Should I click the feedback button from his PC to send diagnostics or does this have a fix now?

When opening small images it seems fine, but when opening more complex models, it prompts the following:
[37] | INFO | Enscape exited with return code: 1

We tried re-installing it and also increasing NVIDIA TDR delay to see if it was the GPU timing out, but didn’t help us.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Fernando

@FernandoHS , thanks for your report and welcome to our Forum.

Right away, please kindly make sure that your graphics card drivers are fully up to date - Furthermore, if that doesn’t do the trick, please also send us a Feedback Report as detailed here. You can gladly let me know once you’ve submitted the report. Also, is this issue persistent in any project of yours, or just with one specific?

Thanks for the fast reply last Friday Damian. I believe it was a problem with Hardware limitation.

The after updating the drivers we were able to open everything else but that file which was 800mb. We only have 4gb Dedicated VRAM and it was capping that out.

I monitored it using Task Manager and this is most likely what it was going on.

Anyway, thanks for your help! I do advice copying some of these report troubleshoot somewhere in the Forum so we kind of know what to do. It feels like even though you guys have a form, the troubleshoots are behind a curtain.

Thanks again!!

@FernandoHS , I’m glad you got behind it! With “just” 4GB of VRAM you will have to keep an eye on the overall project size/renderings size/rendering quality indeed.

Also, when it comes to the troubleshooting of Feedback reports, most of what’s found in logs can be rather cryptic up to the point where some crashes are only resolved through checking the provided crashdumps alongside actually. I’ll look into a potential method to perhaps allow users to check out their own logs and understand what certain error messages may mean though, thanks for the input!

Hello Demian & FernandoHS ! i was able to figure it out what was groing wrong with my model , sharing it here just in case it evers happens to you ! , i started to test render my model separetely in different files to fine out if it was something wrong with the geometry , so furniture render out fine , walls rendered out fine and then textiles it turns out it was crashing big time , so after updating everything it turns out it was the texture map of one of the pillows , for some reason it was in TIFF format , big but not that big 4000x4000dpi , i made it smaller and save it as a JPG and then everything worked fine , spent two hours crash testing the file , so anyway it seams TIFF may messUP your render big time . Thanks Demian again for all the help !

Thanks a lot @jeronimolobo ! If you’re curious, you can actually still submit a report and we can let you know what the issue was exactly - I suspect that it may not even be related to the TIFF format, but rather the size of the file itself, which may have caused your graphics card to run out of available video memory.

In any case, I am very glad to hear that you were able to resolve it and that you can use Enscape again as usual!

Hi,

I am operating bootcamp on mac to access enscape for rhino. I just installed the newest versions of enscape and rhino 7 however I am having trouble opening enscape. I can see that it is installed and can access it in the toolbar. Whenever i run the start command it shows it is loading at 5% then closes. I get an error message in the command bar that says: Renderer window closed before startup was completed. I have tried reinstalling enscape several times with the same results.

You can submit a feedback report as detailed here, but I reckon your machine may perhaps not meet our requirements? Check them out here:

https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/system-requirements/

If your Mac is supported, then kindly send in the report as mentioned, and the log files and machine information will be helpful with troubleshooting this. Be aware please though that we do not officially support Enscape inside of Bootcamp, and potentially you will either want to use the native Mac version or switch to a windows based machine if possible.
