You need the license server in any case. You can run the RT server or not as you wish - if you don’t run it, V-Ray RT for 3ds Max will run it automatically for you. So it doesn’t really matter.
I no longer see anything with RTSpawner, either in the SERVICES or PROCESSES tab of Windows Task Manager. Does that have anything to do with it?No, this has nothing to do with the issue. The problem is somewhere else.
