I thought to my self: I only go to the this forum to post about problems. Not a big contributor but… I love this software. So, now I said it.
It´s been a pleasant journey

I generally go to this forum to learn from other people’s problems and to steal their techniques.
Thank you Vray!
Thanks v-ray
I couldn’t pay enough for the support I get here. Really… it is bar none!
Yeah, I got this one mostly - although I do help out where I can. I’m not allowed to post 99% of the work I do so its very rare I can throw anything up. Although ive needed to ask some silly technical questions recently.
I was reading this forum back when I was on vray free trying to pick everyones brains, but everyone was so hostile to unregistered members back then, haha.
Hehe, thanks for the heads up; the forum is a good place thanks to all of you!
Best regards,
Vlado
this forum is my main source of info, new techniques and for troubleshooting help. Actually look here before asking workmates ![]()
Keep it up vlado, its great to see you contribute (I’m sure everyone agrees). Its service i’ve never had with other software anyway
Let me chime in and thank You guys for the wonderful chance you’ve given me.
Looking at your issues, creating scripts to solve production challenges, answering question has been and will be an invaluable source of insight into my own knowledge, and a wonderful motivator for me to dig deeper and better myself.
On top of that, your answers, as well as Vlado’s, really made me a better professional and extended, and deepened, my knowledge of rendering in general, and VRay in particular.
I’ve been on here for a few years thinking only of what I could give to a community, and I’m finding myself with my bags full of stuff I have been given.
Quite a ride.
I have been registered here for quite some time, but I’ve only been rather active for about a year now. I’ve learned quite a bit since then and I keep learning every day. The only problem is that there are so many topics that I barely have time to keep up…
But I want to thank everyone for their help.
Yeah, I double that! I learned a lot of things here!
Thanks to VrayTeam and Forum’s guys. ![]()
I come here for answers on many subjects, not only VRay. The discussions here are generally more intelligent, in-depth and valuable than any I can find at the Area (with the exception of any thread with Bobo) or CGSociety. I think the registered user factor plays into this a lot. You don’t see a massive amount of amateur questions and answers with a small fraction of professional advice and responses. here the ratio is flipped. A simple question leads to a tomb of useful information from some great artists and professionals.
Though I don’t post much, I read every day, several times a day (every time I hit render! and at lunch, and at coffee… and when i wait for my train…)
I am grateful to all.
yes this is a very good forum and very good support and answers from all users. So far my contribution overall havent been much about VRay actually, but more about other technical stuff. However, as I learn more and get better like some of the masters here, I hope to also give back and give some tips in VRay ![]()
