Serious problem with VFB in latest VRay Next - whole max + VRay stop working

Hello,

I had no problem with all betas, but when I move to final VRay Next, IPR behave terrible. I started render on IPR, then changed something and after that I stoped render. But CPU load was still around 90% and cant close VFB and have to kill whole max. What is going on. I have latest VRay Next from site and max 2018. But this is terrible, cant use IPR now. I can send you a scene, its pretty simple, but dont know what is going on exactly.

Hmm, now I found out that from one camera, I cant even render this simple scene. I will send a scene to support…

Did anybody receive a scene please? I didnt receive any “we got your mail with ticket number” mail, so dont know.

Some bug caused that all my memory is taken so I have to kill max. I think this is a real problem. :frowning:

Does your render actually finish? I have my whole computer lock up and I don’t see any buckets move, however, if I leave it alone it’ll complete the rendering.

I stop the render, but CPU load is still around 90%, my 64GB of RAM is completely filled and I cant close VFB or anything, have to kill 3ds max process. And this problem start right after I install final VRay Next. :frowning:

And the main problem is - it stuck at the beginning of render inicialization, take whole RAM and I have to kill it. But it depend what camera is set (with some cameras this doesnt happen) if I have automatic exposure and white balance (doesnt happen when this features are off) and maybe some other things. And it happening in IPR and in regular rendering mode.

Please where is a problem?

I don’t know, but it seems that the forum isn’t moderated anymore, or something. I have several posts that have gone unanswered for days. Mine is minor, but yours seems to be stopping you from working.

It has to do with VRayDisplacement. When I turn it off, it seems ok. But I cant fix this bug, please is there someone from Chaos? :slight_smile:

I found the case in our system and we are working on it. Can you check your spam/junk folder for the auto reply generated by our system ? Everything looks correct at our side, the autoreply message has been send from the ticket system.
