I am messaging here to inform everyone that there’s a Hydra issue with the 20.5.584 build of Houdini that causes significant issues for Solaris rendering.
We have already informed SideFX and a fix will be available in the next Houdini production build.
As of now, even though we have support in the nightly builds for 20.5.584, we suggest refraining from using them for Solaris-based setups.
