Srgb ERROR

Hi.
I have started to get this error…

# Warning: V-Ray : Failed to set Maya Color Management to convert sRGB to ACES 1.0 SDR-video (sRGB)
# Error: RuntimeError: file C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\Maya 2023 for x64\maya_vray\scripts\vray\vray_maya_utils.py line 278: colorManagementPrefs: Rendering space sRGB is unknown.

I’m still using the same setup and OCIO file but VFB is not setting the colour space correctley to match all the work we have already done?

I’m not proficiant enough to understand the finer details of using ocio configs but what could now be causing this?

Input colour space is greyed out.

We’re getting the same error in the latest builds (or possibly the newest Maya update), however, we are not yet sure what is causing it. The error is not harmful - only the VFB is not picking the correct color settings as before. I’ll write back with more information.

Hi Aleksandar,

I take it this still hasn’t been fixed in the latest, right?

I’m getting the same on latest Maya and VRay, we’re stuck to previewing on sRGB instead of OCIO atm
