stopping 4d walking actors at end of path

What is the best way to stop 4d alking actors from looping at the end of a path?
I have tried with the traffic lights but they just pass through.

Hi chris_jackson,

4D walking models are actually 4D models being displaced along a path at a pace that matches the velocity of their scanned animation. Therefore, as it happens with all 4D models, their animation cannot be modified, so they cannot transition from a walking animation to anything else.

On the other hand, Rigged models use an internal skeleton structure to drive their animation, so they can adapt their movements to different animations. Most of the tools available in Anima are only compatible with those Rigged models. This includes:

  • Crowd Paths (including the ability to climb stairs and ramps)
  • Crowd traffic lights
  • Socialization Areas
  • Avoiding areas
  • Escalators

The animation in 4D models is much more realistic because it is a performance from an actor that has been captured including all the details (facial expression, hair, cloth). However, it cannot be modified. The Rigged models animation is not as detailed, but it is much more adaptable to different situations.
