Trouble installing enscape 4.0 with Rhino 8 mac

Please help! I have a hard time installing free trial enscape in Rhino 8 (evaluation version). The installation is completed but nowhere to be found in Rhino.

@fai.sasimanash , welcome to our Forum.

Right away please check out the following article ideally in detail in regards to enabling Enscape correctly:

If that makes no difference what so ever and you still experience problems please reach out to our support team as detailed here if you haven’t already.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Demian,

I tried this suggestion, but unfortunately it didn’t work since this is the solution for the windows version/interface.
I got the same problem, after installation of Enscape I can’t find any “.rui” files on my mac. Also I can’t see any Enscape options in Rhino.

I’m working with test version of Rhino 8 for MAC and test version of Enscape since I’m considering buying both programmes.
But since things are so complicated during installation, I am honestly considering giving up on these programs.

Could you please help?

I am working on a MacBook Pro M1 Max (Sonoma 14.5 (23F79) with Rhino Version 8.9.24194.18122 and Enscape 4.0.2.11.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi @mppffm and thanks a lot for your post.

In this case please check out the following knowledgebase article here covering Enscape for Mac using Rhino specifically:

https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/enable_enscape-mac-rhino/

And an excerpt of interest right away from this article:

In a situation where you do not see any reference to Enscape in Rhino menu or toolbar options, it is likely that the installation is corrupt or was somehow unsuccessful. In such circumstances it would be recommended to perform a fresh reinstall of Enscape. This means, uninstalling Enscape completely by removing it from Mac, rebooting the machine, and then running the Enscape installer again. You should also refer back to the installation steps, found here.

Feel free to go through these steps and let me know in case you still experience this or any further problems.
