v-ray and max 5 no material in material editor.

I have vray 1.09.03.j and it works but i have problem in material editor. I choose vray as a render then i go to the materials editor and if i choose vraMtl all i can see is just black ball (no shading and other effects) . Does anybody know how to fix this, is this a buc or something else .
Help :(.

with max 5 .. I think you have to assign the renderer
in the “material editor options” as well.
