I just upgraded my version from 1.46.10 to 1.46.15, and there is lots of difference in rendertimes.
in 1.46.10, a preview of a scene would take 16m18sec
in 1.46.15, the same scene, after installation is taking 27m50sec.

Was there a change like the subdiv. things that happened between 1.09 and 1.4x

I ll do a simpler scene in order to see if my scene is involved in that, but if someone have an idea, would be appreciated.

No, but there were a few bugs that were fixed. They may have been a reason for the 1.46.10 version to render faster, although not correctly.

I did a new simple scene, walls, 2 windows and a few spheres, used the same settings, and the newer version is rendering a few seconds faster,
I guess there something in the scene
