With the color correction curves applied to an image in the VFB, the saved image will show the modifications. However, I rendered out a test light study animation and the curves weren’t applied to the saved sequence of images. Have I missed something?
I am having the same problem. I figure that it’s so we can do the color corrections in a post program. but with my current job I’ve been told “no post work, the render must look good from max”. This of course led me to the color correct curves, but the renders aren’t saving them. It’s a shame but I get why we are left to do the color correct in post. It’s a better process, but weirdly clients don’t always want better processes.
