This seems to be happening a lot at the moment on a new workstation, plus max is crashing a lot when I’m using vrayRT. Not sure if these crashes and error messages are connected. Thanks

Which V-Ray version, 3ds Max version, graphics card and drivers, and which OS?

Vray: Build 3.40.03
3dsmax 2016 sp4
Graphics card: 1080gtx (im using CPU not GPU)
GPU drivers: 372.9 - I just realised this system has not got the latest which I am upgrading to now.
Windows 10 64 bit

Hm, if it is the CPU version, then it might be relatated to the scene - is this the case?

I’ve managed to complete the scene now and unfortunately I’m under NDA with it so can’t send out. If it happens again on a smaller scene I’ll refer to this thread and send the file to you. Thanks
