Are you saving the file to a location that vray/max can’t find?

In this case i am not saving the file anywhere as its just for testing purposes. (so both the 3dsMax file save & the Vray Frame Buffer have no file save option enabled. Im just rendering to the Vray VFB.

Hi Vlado - I sent you the scene just now (& sent it yesterday to vray@chaosgroup.com ). If you cannot replicate the crash please let me know & i’ll see what i can do to give you better understanding of what is happening at my end. For now i have to go back to v2.4 so i can work on this project again…

Leo, Do you have any standard max “normal bump” maps? Usually evermotion models have them. If you think you might have them let me know and I will send you a script that replaces “normal bump” maps with “Vray normal bump” maps

Yes, I think so - the crash has to do with the “curve” VFB color correction, though the error originally comes from a NaN pixel in the image and I’m looking into what’s causing it. Best regards, Vlado
