Could be that message “Cloud licensing” just a general advice and the issue is that firewall is blocking me?
The license server on my workstation ( http://localhost:30304/#/bundle/blender) give me this info
Further investigation give me the idea the cloud licensing is cloud licensing while online licensing is another method.
So, my question still valid: is it cloud licensing a requirement?
What kind of internet connections setup or firewall setup should I do to can connect to cloud to make it working?
Could you also explain what’s going on with my license?
The situation is this
@zhanet.georgieva sorry to ping you but could you check if, from Chaos side, my license for Community Edition is ok?
I work in a company that has some network policy and I’d like to know to be sure that the issue from using Vray for Blender CE is totaly from our side…so please could you clear my doubts about the license?
Thanks in advance.
Hi bardo, the reason it’s been quiet is that V-Ray for Blender Community Edition is a free version, so it doesn’t come with official technical support.
The CE uses a Cloud licensing. I did a quick check on my end, and I can see your CE license in our system. Please check with your IT team to add exceptions, sometimes a restricted environment can cause the issue.
Ok, I wasn’t aware of this detail about the official technical support.
So, thank you to take your time to check my license and give me this feedback…now I know that it’s our fault at 100%.
Thank you very much.
