Water caustics issue

Hi everyone,

For some reason I get cool caustics in the interactive rendering but when I render the scene I can barely see any caustic coming from my pool.

I am using corona 4, caustics solver, and path tracing as a secondary solver. Water material has caustics enabled.

The water is a turbosmoothed plane + displacement mod with the native 3dsmax noise.

What do you mean by saying that you get caustics in VFB, but no caustics in render? Do you mean when you save the picture, it comes different from what you see in VFB?

I think he meant interactive rendering instead of VFB)

Interactive rendering, sorry, edited already.

I am afraid we will have to investigate your scene to identify the issue here, feel free to upload just the pool object with the water and your current sun/hdri setup, please also archive the isolated objects.
