Hi everybody,
ive recently got a strange light in my rendering. has anyone experienced something similar? I turned off all the lights but nothing changed. Its not everywhere either, but only in the trees in the rendering.
You say “In my renderings” so you mean in the Enscape window OR when it’s rendered to file?
A few of us have noticed a pinkish glow in the Enscape window under certain circumstances, most noticeably when self-illuminating materials are used BUT it never occurs in the rendered file.
Have you got the chromatic aberration effect turned on?
yes a little bit. but i cant reproduce the effect to check if it get more or less…
Can you share the model?
That was my first guess too.. Especially that chromatic aberration is suppose to be most visible on high contrast parts.. like tree leaves seen on bright sky
The other things I would check
You haven’t got any weird material settings such as metalness that is not 0 or 100% (anything else can cause lighting strangeness)
Try increasing the reflectivity of the material and see if it pops away - the roughness cutoff may mean that it’s using a screen space reflection and the purple is coming from the purple flowers somehow.
(You could try removing them also to test that)
