Just curious if any one has 2AMD Opteron Abu Dhabi 16 Core cpu to try and compare. These cpus on paper look a lot more powerful vs how much they cost. But yet I haven’t seen anyone put out a test with them. Are they just not that popular or whats the story?

I haven’t followed this thread, which seems to have a record for the longest thread in history. Do we have a winner? Xeon vs. i7?

Personally I think 5960x is the best bang v buck when overclocked. Dell quoted me a $10,000 dual xeon machine yet my custom built 5960x is faster than that. Of course if money is no object then there are some super dual xeon systems will beat i7.
