another question...where should I put the rosette.jpeg map (for reflection)?..in the vray-options-environment-Background or in the material editor-diamond-maps-background??
???
ps.I use vray for rhino
pps.where i can find a trial version of matrix 6?
ppps.thanks travis!!
In the material put it in the Maps panel under Refraction. You're better off finding a nice photo of a diamond more so than using the rossette hdr. You can probably google image search and try to locate a nice large shot of a colorful diamond face on.
You can also experiment with placing a secondary map on the Refraction map channel in your refraction layer. Results will be hit and miss with that, the lighter the better for that channel.
ps. Me too
pps. I don't believe Matrix has a trial version.
ppps. You're welcome!
