Re: New Renders
looks nice.
but need to ask something: is there a problem with the beds leg? it is too tappered, isnt it?.
i can guess the geometry of the room and there is no problem with this render but at first look i thought there is a second sun in the seceene and confused you may change the direction of the sun or camera a little bit to give a better understandfing of the room and to prevent any confusions.
these are little things no big deal. i like it anyway.

Re: New Renders
Hi and thanks for your comments,
Zooropa, yes I take your point with regards to the pillows taking on a plastic appearance and I will try to amend this.
Blastered, again I take your point with regards to the bed legs and will give them a squarer section.
You are right about the lights, I had 2 but have since removed 1, as you say it causes confusion in the room.
The light coming in over picture has now been removed.
Thanks again.

Re: New Renders
hi! me again.
curtain is awesome both material and model. is it rhino or smth else?
a suggestion refrain to use 100% black for your diffuse colour. RGB 20,20,20 should be the lowest value for black.
and a question what is that black area seen through the window?
lastly this camera angle seem to be defining the wardrobe not the room if your goal was that i have nothing to say. if not and you are in trouble with finding a good angle you can change the lens lenght to max 25(human eye is 35) that may give you more space but distorts objects.
but overall this is a good render.

"a suggestion refrain to use 100% black for your diffuse colour. RGB 20,20,20 should be the lowest value for black"
Hi Blastered and thanks for your past comments which I have now found some time to answer my apologies.
With regards to the black, this is always been a problem, not with V-Ray but with me, I still think it is a monitor calibration thing because on my monitor the black you mention looks ok on mine, this is also the case with what you see out the window its not black at all on my monitor but dark grey cloud. The doors are a wood grain as well (wenge)which is a dark brown and black stripe.
Curtain is a max model and material was done with V-Ray for rhino.
"lastly this camera angle seem to be defining the wardrobe not the room if your goal was that i have nothing to say."
Yes the goal is to define the sliding robe.
"but overall this is a good render."
Many thanks
Zooropa: thanks for your coments
"Check the Alumium at Bed! looks a bit shiny...so less realistic."
working on it, thanks
ratrace: again thanks for the coments,
"tough crowd".
No, everyone is pretty cool on this forum.
My quote for the day “no one gives bad comments only sound criticism”.
Stefan: you are to kind sir, and your comments are greatly appreciated, but have a look at some of the master’s work within this and the main gallery and you will see some real talented people.
