    Re: New Renders

Thanks for your last comments, greatly appreciated. I have added a plant to this render and intensified the light coming in the room.

      Re: New Renders

Very nice, I'm liking the brighter image. One small thing though, the sunlight seems to die off very quickly, I would have expected more extreme light patterns on the bed (pillows in particular)

very nice works you have here my friend, you are impoving with each render, the kitchen is very nice, imo you should turn on some of those spot lights, to add more drama to the lightnig. congrats!!

Hi Teofas and thanks for your past comments, I have seen your renders in the sketchup gallery and was mighty impressed by your work, I didn’t think that sketchup was capable of such good modelling. Thanks again for your comments.

Hi Blastered hope you are well
Got to ask why? Do you think it detracts from the rest of the render or just looks wrong? Any way let me know. Now if I can just find the on / off button, I will re-render with it off.

                    Regards

                      Re: New Renders

hi marko i think tv on its ok, but imo it would look better if you linked that material and apply to it an emisive material, so the screen dosent looks so flat, cause when you see a tv on real life, it has some kind of glow, try it out and lets see what happen, see ya! sorry if my english is bad, is not my native lenguaje.

                        Re: New Renders

Now then Blastered says OFF and Teofas says ON. I will do the two of them.
I have replaced TV Room view 2 with the off version and will do TV Room view 1 with the on version.
Teofas I have done as you asked and applied an emissive layer to the image texture but it looks de-saturated, see settings image below; maybe you can help with the settings I should be using.

                          Re: New Renders

A trick for TFT screens - set emissive layer at transparency 250 and add a fresnel reflection layer. This should help to get a light reflection on the screen. The emissive intensity must be used to bring back the light effect.

At the TV room I miss different light colors for sky light and artifical light. Also I have the feeling much light come from an open wall behind the camera, that cause a flat look. Best use a closed room (do you know the trick to render through closed walles?).

The image of the kitchen looks great!!! (only the window of the oven could be transparent [if you like I could send you a cake texture "Freiberger Eierschecke" and you could let the cake bake ])

                            Re: New Renders

Hi Micha, I have tried what you said with regard to the TV. Maybe you can tell me if this looks correct.
I removed the net curtain from the window.
The room has no walls missing and the window is the only light source, hdri and added a sun for this version to add a bit more warmth to the light.
With regards to the kitchen, yes if you have a texture for the oven I will put it in.

                            Mark

My apologies Micha, I have just found that the raised part of the ceiling was not in contact with the lower part of the ceiling at the back and this was indeed allowing light to come from behind the camera. This will make a big difference to the look of the room set when I re-render. I will post the result when I am done.

                                Re: New Renders

hi marko, sorry for the late response, about the tv emisive material, you have to go to the color on emisive and go to the "m" on the side of color, and then on type add a bitmap, and there put the same image that you use for the emisive, in your case the tiger, and there you change the intensity multiplier, not anymore on the intensity layer, but on the "M" on the side of color on your emisive material, im sorry for my english, sometimes its hard to explain, if i dont explain it well, tell me and ill post an image to make it more clear, hope this helps.
one more thing, when you set the intensity of the bitmap on emisive material, you maybe need to go very high, like 600000, or something in my case it was like that, but i think is because of the physical camara parameters, or not, i dont know. ok, now thats all!
