Hi! this is my latest attempt, hope u like it, i made it a little more bright and added a very painful but fun material to the render, but the floor gives me the impression of being in parts wet and in parts dry, like if it was just sprayed with a hose, or at least that was my aiming, but c&c are welcome!.

Also, here is the last post file, in case someone wants it, you'll just need to calculate both photon and ir maps again, just Click here!

      thanks guys!
      Best Regards.

Hey Matt, if it's not too much trouble, could you post a screenshot of your photon map settings? I'm only on Max 5 over here, so I can't use any of the files you've posted, and I like how your lighting turned out. Thanks a lot for all the work you've done!

            [EDIT]
Wow...that was my first post here. Didn't even realize it. I've been lurking around here for so long, but I guess I never posted anything. Weird.

                Hi guys,

I saw this post and thought it might be interesting to try the new lightmap function on this scene.

After a few hours of trial and error i got this result.

And here are my settings, i don't really understand all the settings especially the filter settings but i am getting there. Let me know what you think.

rendertime 10:50 min on a dual xeon 2,8 Ghz 2Gb ram.

Oh and i removed the vray lights, i didn't need them with the lightmap.

                Erik
A full render queu is a thing of beauty !
