I would lower the reflection and glosiness of the walls a bit. What are your settings?

Love the kitchen shot! How does the render time compare to your previous job settings? As in, are the new default settings any better/faster than your previous settings on past jobs? I would personally reduce the brightness of the pendants over the island so you can see more of their shape. I usually resort to a self-illumination material with a fall-off for the light output so you can see the contours of the surface better. That's probably cheating though.Work:
Dell Precision T7910, Dual Xeon E5-2640 v4 @ 2.40GHz | 32GB RAM | NVIDIA Quadro P2000 5gb | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980Ti 6GB | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti 11GB
V-Ray Benchmark: CPU 00:52 | GPU 00:32
Home:
AMD Threadripper 1950X 3.4GHz 16-Core | 32GB RAM | (2) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti 11GB
V-Ray Benchmark: CPU 00:47 | GPU 00:34

I don't recall the previous render times, but this time it is ridiculously high.Originally posted by particlerealities View PostLove the kitchen shot!
