Hmmm. no need to rush into buying a new 64bit machine for me then..

well as Ive told Daelf, Ive used 4 gigs of memory rendering with the new 64bit windows. So its not totally useless.

I have also used over 4GB in 64, haven't had any crashing at 1.8GB
