Recently, Dell released their new 30" LCD the 3007WFP-HC
The Brightness has dropped from 400 cd/m2 to 300 cd/m2, which isnt too much of a problem as mine is turned all the way down as it is now.
The contrast has risen from 700:1 (typical) to 1000:1 (typical)\
Response time has improved abit 11ms down to 8ms (grey to grey) and 14ms down to 12ms (black to white) and it now has a 92% color gamut, previously 75% (same as most other LCD's)
And I believe it has a new back lighting system.
So if anyone is interested in buying a near brand new 30" Dell from me (so I can upgrade) let me know
