Available new product - Material Repository Pro for 3ds Max. Material/shortcut manager (without material presets), Mtl Lab (V-Ray and Corona) - currently only shaderball scenes, but in future will be included more scenes for interior/exterior, transparent, etc. materials tests. http://www.sigershop.eu/store/downloads/mrp-max/
Interesting, is there a way to see the UI of this new tool to understand exactly what it does?
I have been waiting for a better material manager inside VMPP for long time.
Would it be possible to get the two together working hand by hand? Or both in the same interface?
I just bought the V-Ray Material Presets Pro and it is really great - especially when you don't already have a decent Vray material library of your own.
Regimantas, any chance that you will soon get around to redoing the Gemstone, Mosaic, Parquet and Carpaint for the Microfacet GTR model?

The user base material lib is the most important for me, it need to be easy, network based, and highly configurable to suit any type of material.
If there was a option to change between different scene setups for the user based material lib, I would definitely make the jump to get it.

So some categories are using the microfavet gtr method, some aren't, is that correct?
Which ones are?
Hi,
materials from tab 'V-Ray 3.1+' uses GGX shading model and compatible only with V-Ray 3.10 and up. For older V-Ray versions - tab 'Legacy' materials.
what I mean is, I haven't purchased it yet (so I can't actually see which materials, otherwise I'd check myself) and I'm wondering whether most of the materials are using the GGX method?
Like, are there versions of the old materials which have been updated to use ggx?
