    Hi,
Unfortunately, no Render high quality previews in the higher pixelsize (f. e. 1000x1000) will be very slow. I think, is no sense to render low quality previews or grabbing PostStamp (max 88x88px). As my long-term practice (and not only mine) showed, the best method - do the necessary previews yourself.

Nonsense, leave that decision to the user!

You are almost there with the MTL LAB, right! Just let that be an option on added materials, with the option to batch render them, and it can tinker over night.

I have 100's of materials that I would love to have a nice preview thumbnail of. Also, I typically create materials on the fly in scenes and if I like them I sometimes add them to VMPP, it would be very convenient to be able to go back afterwards and render out those thumbnails automatically.

        Hey guys,
the new version ist out and installed. Over 8 gig of maps and the new shaders also use the free plugins like thinfilm, procedural noise and scratches.
Yesterday I started to try it out and it's quite cool. Thanks Mr. Siger!

Okay, I installed new version on Max2016. All went fine until importing the license file.
Upon choosing the file, max immediately crashes with error message. Just was trying in a new, empty scene, wtf

@ Siger...Any plans for adding some other species of wood to the parquet section? Now, all the parquet is only oak! (Although, they do look great.)

It is planned, but for everything it is necessary a time. Already I agreed that will permit to scan wood.

Excellent to hear. Nice work, it's a great update so far I especially love the MatLab and adjustable units, etc.

                  Great update Regimantas!
Could you include the plugins (scratches/thinfilm/noise/fresnal) in the installer please?

                    Thank you.
Yes, I think about include free plugins in the next minor update installer. Also installer will be fixed to find Max Design paths in registry.
Also will be fixed some bugs with some deflib materials maps (Morne Erasmus - thanks for the pointer). If you found any bug, don't hesitate to send email to support(at)sigershop.eu

New minor version update is out - v.4.0.1
                      – The installer now can find 3ds Max Design paths.
                      – The installer includes all required additional plug-ins.
                      – Fixed map paths for some materials.
                      – Fixed Real-World map size scaling for some materials.
                      – Now the UNC path resolver can be enabled/disabled.
                      – A little optimized the user library thumbnails handler.

I am up and running on the new and approved. I am not seeing some of the materials that were in the previous versions. I am not seeing plastics and the granite and other stones, which I used all the time for kitchen backsplashes. Good job with the update, it is awesome!

                            Hi Bobby,
all materials and textures in v. 4 new. Stone (Granite, marble and onyx) included with much higher quality textures (scanned from real stone slab/tiles). Just now I work on plastic materials (and more) and will be included into new minor update. Don't ask about ETA - I don't know But, I think, soon.
Also, you can use both versions of VMPPmax (3.x and 4.x) if you need older materials.
