Huh, thanks for the info and the scenes! Will check what's needed to adjust in these and get back to you...

      Thank you Svetlin!
As a side note, I checked quickly the other quick settings (fire, explosion, waterfall...) and everything seems to behave normally.

          Any news Svetlin?

Here is a cube of 1cm. I would say that it looks rather like a cube of 1m.

Wow, this looks like a particular meteor the dinosaurs would dislike. I hope we'll be on this in a couple of days - we're under a small avalanche of stuff... Will keep you posted.

Btw, with such a fast moving obstacle, you can expect so much foam and splash - if the preset is working fine, the cube should behave like it's as big as a ship, so it should be moving more slowly

well, there are ships and ships..... if I do a 1cm cube, it should be a microscopic ship, if I do a 10cm ship, it should be a scale model (rather tiny scale model) ship; if I do a 100cm cube it can be a nice scale model ship, if I do a 400cm cube it should be a small boat.... if.... etc....
When I read you, sometimes I have the feeling that it does "just a ship", but there is a difference between a small motor boat and a Tanker

Now things start to look slowly better. I used the scene from the Torus and replaced with the boat. The boat is 4 times too small and I had to make the grid bigger. The good thing is that the boat really looks too small! I will make another test with a boat at 1/2 scale.
I wonder why we have the step showcased in the screenshot.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to connect my fluid container to my boat in Maya so that it moves in space with the boat geo. Whats your method?

Simply group the boat and the Phoenix simulator. Animate the group. At least that's what I do...

here the result with boat at half size with the ocean from the torus scene. Looks like something better. I'm doing a longer simulation to see how it goes.

Now, this starts slowly to look like something. It's still based on the "Torus ocean". I'm curious to see what happens if I delete the ocean and recreate one based on the same boat. I will try....
