Right now I'm calculating the new image with AA DMC at 1/6, colour threshold 0.005, and the Brute Force subdiv at 70, noise threshold 0,002.
It's not going to be entirely noise free but still much, much better and it looks like it will render in about 6 hours instead of 19.
Pixela: Raising the exposure or sensitivity is the same as increasing the power of the lights, as far as I understand, and will therefore result in an increased render time. Besides, I'm not sure it would help since I, like Peter, am getting noise mostly in the lighter parts of the image. Not so much in the dark areas - or at least it's not that visible there.
