Grant Warwick- Mastering Vray: Material Ideas Needed.
I've donated the first $250 to Unicef in australia a charity organisation that has a pretty good rep over here for offering immediate help to typhoon Haiyan
So congrats guys, we just provided safe water for 20 people for the next 2 weeks over there!
Of course I will be donating lots more once I start selling past the 50 mark, for now I'm taking care of an urgent family matter
Can anyone recommend where to send the other $250, I don't feel great about putting it all in one place in case the charity is a piece of shit

This thread has become rather huge, and it's now a bit difficult finding the necessary information... how do I order these? How much are they? Grant's site is down and his portfolio doesn't contain anything about this project (unless I'm just looking in the wrong places)...

Please email me, not much I can do about the thread getting this large haha. Admin@sathe.com.au
there is 1 spot left (only because someone still hasn't paid)
Alright, I'm preparing some final stuff and I realised I've been going on and on about how these are production ready shaders without fucken showing you ANY production quality material so I'm pretty embarassed.
I have however been working on a personal project with Aleks Kirilenko, he's just an insane modeler. Anyways, hope you like what you see and it gets you excited for what's to come.
There is only one map in the entire shader, the blends.
That's a great looking material Grant. I'm kind of jealous that you're working on stills and get the time to really push your materials and lighting to this level - really top stuff.
Once you start rendering at 7k, you just can't go back I guess. I'd highly recommend making the switch, I can see it being perfectly suited to your problem solving style of working.
When I started working where I do right now we were specialized in high res prints for car visualizations. Now my boss wants to focus more on animations. And to be honest I wish that wasn't the case. ;_; I was too young and inexperienced(still am) to appreciate prints.
